Matching hoodie and jogger sets for teams

Dye lots are the whole reason. Fabric is dyed in batches, and two batches of the same specified colour land close to each other rather than identical. On a single garment nobody notices. On a hoodie worn directly above a jogger, in daylight or under a phone camera flash, a half-shade difference reads immediately as two things that do not go together.

Ordering together also fixes the decoration. The same screen or the same digitized file runs across both garments, so the logo is the same size and the same colour on each, which sounds obvious and is exactly what drifts when a second order is placed later against a re-set-up job.

The practical consequence: decide on the set before you order the hoodie, not after. Adding joggers later is possible and we will do it, but we will tell you honestly that the match is approximate rather than guaranteed.

The admin worry with sets is collecting two size runs, and in practice it is less work than it sounds because most people take the same nominal size in both. Collect one size per person and treat it as the default for both garments, then allow anyone who wants a different jogger size to say so.

The exception worth flagging in your form: joggers run closer through the leg with a tapered cut and a ribbed ankle, while hoodies are cut roomy to layer. Someone who likes a loose hoodie and a fitted jogger will want different sizes, and asking one extra question up front saves a set that fits half right.

Share the size guide with your group before the form goes out so everyone measures against the same chart rather than guessing from memory.

The most common mistake is decorating both halves as though each were a standalone garment. A large front graphic on the hoodie plus a large thigh logo on the jogger is too much: worn together, the two marks compete and the set reads as a uniform rather than as apparel.

The version that works is a hierarchy. Put the main design on the hoodie, where it is seen and where the flat front panel suits it, and keep the jogger to a small thigh logo or a leg wordmark. The set then reads as one considered thing rather than two separately branded pieces.

Screen print is the default across both for volume; embroidery suits the small jogger mark particularly well and can be mixed with a screen-printed hoodie in the same order. We will lay out both halves in the mockup so you can see them as a pair before approving.
