Charity walk shirts
Charity walk shirts usually run in two colors: one for walkers and walk teams, and a second so volunteers are easy to find. Walk team shirts can carry the team name, and awareness walk shirts often use the color of the cause. Sponsor logos print on the back, so give sponsors a deadline to send logos before you approve the mockup. Order at least 4 weeks before the walk. Timed race? See marathon and race merch.

Nonprofit event shirt questions
Where can a nonprofit order custom apparel in bulk?
Here, from 50 pieces: event tees run $7 to $10 each at 100, delivered with shipping included. We accept purchase orders, provide a W-9 on request, and send a free mockup before anything is made. Volunteer, participant and sponsor shirts can share one run, shipped to one US address you choose.
Can you make custom shirts for a nonprofit event?
Yes: we make volunteer shirts, participant tees, and sponsor-logo apparel for walks, runs, galas, and volunteer days, planned back from your event date. We accept purchase orders and can provide a W-9 on request, which matters for nonprofit finance offices. Every quote is guaranteed for 30 days, and you get a free mockup before anything is made.
How much do nonprofit event shirts cost?
Volunteer and participant tees run $7 to $10 each at 100 and $5 to $8 each at 250 or more. Hoodies for major donors run $22 to $28 each at 100. A soft, durable screen-printed tee is the best value for most nonprofit events: low cost per shirt at volume, and comfortable enough that people keep wearing it. See the cost guide.
Do you provide a W-9 and accept purchase orders?
Yes. We accept purchase orders and can provide a W-9 on request, so your nonprofit's finance office has the paperwork it needs. Paid in full by Stripe invoice, card or ACH. School, district and company purchase orders accepted. Quotes are guaranteed for 30 days while the purchase order clears approval. See how ordering works for the full process.
Can you put sponsor logos on the shirts?
Yes. Sponsor-logo backs are one of the most common things we do for nonprofit events. Send us the logos in whatever format you have and we lay them out in a balanced grid, sized so each reads clearly, then send a mockup for your sponsors to approve before printing.
How early should we order shirts for a charity walk?
Order at least 4 weeks before the walk. About 3 weeks from mockup approval to in hand: about 2 weeks of production, then about 1 week of shipping. The extra week covers the mockup, sponsor sign-off and a final size count. If registration is still open, order your confident count first and place an add-on run for late sign-ups.
Can sponsor logos go on the back of charity walk shirts?
Yes. Sponsor logos print on the back of walker, team and volunteer shirts, with your walk design on the front. Set a date for sponsors to send their logos, because the back cannot be laid out until every logo is in. Each sponsor then sees the layout on the mockup before anything is printed.
What if registration grows after we order?
Order your confident base count early, then place an add-on run for late sign-ups. With your artwork already on file there is nothing to re-quote and it comes out identical, though it still needs about three weeks to make and ship, so set your sign-up cutoff with that in mind.
What is the minimum order for nonprofit event shirts?
Minimums range from 20 to 50 pieces, depending on the product. Volunteer, participant, and VIP tiers usually combine to clear that easily, and the price per piece steps down at 50, 100, and 250 pieces. If you need fewer, tell us and we confirm what is possible. The whole order ships together to one address you choose.
More about nonprofit event shirts
Shirts for nonprofit walks, runs & galas
A good event shirt is the best nonprofit merch there is: it turns every volunteer and participant into a walking billboard for your cause, long after the walk, run, or gala is over. Custom shirts for a nonprofit event do double duty on the day, too: a bold volunteer color helps the public find help fast, and a sponsor-logo back gives the businesses funding you real, wearable visibility. We help nonprofits outfit the whole event: volunteer tees, participant shirts for everyone who registered, and premium pieces for major donors or gala guests.
Sponsor-logo shirts that thank your funders
Putting sponsor logos on the back of your event shirt is one of the highest-value perks you can offer a funder: it is visible on the day and every time the shirt gets worn afterward. We lay out a clean sponsor-logo grid at any tier: a single headline sponsor across the shoulders, or a tidy grid of a dozen supporters, sized so every logo reads clearly. Send the logos in whatever format you have and we normalize them into a balanced layout, then show you the mockup so your sponsors sign off before printing.
Volunteer shirts that stand out in a crowd
On a busy course or gala floor, your volunteers need to be findable instantly. A distinct color for the volunteer tee, different from the participant shirt, lets the public spot help from across the field. We coordinate one order spanning volunteer, participant, and VIP pieces so everything stays on-brand while each group is easy to tell apart. The same shirts work for a corporate volunteer day: a company that brings a team out to serve gets custom shirts for the group, and your cause gets the visibility. Layouts and colors are on volunteer t-shirts.
Add-on runs & reorders when registration grows
Registrations climb right up to event day, so we plan for it. For recurring galas and annual walks, we keep everything on file so next year's shirts match this year's. Running a standing program? Keep your designs and specs on file with us, then collect orders from supporters yourself and send one bulk reorder whenever you need more. For church and mission groups, see VBS shirt ideas and mission trip shirt ideas.
What to send for a fast quote
Your event artwork or logo, plus any sponsor logos for the back. How many shirts, and the split between volunteers, participants, and VIPs. Sizes: a rough size run based on registrations is fine. Your event date and the one address to ship to: venue, office, or packet-pickup site. A W-9 request or PO number if your finance office needs one. Awareness months and race seasons book up, so starting six to eight weeks out leaves room for a late add-on run. Selling a supporter bag too? See fundraiser tote bags.
