Industrial uniform questions
How much do industrial uniforms with a company logo cost?
Uniform tees run $7 to $10 each at 100 pieces and $5 to $8 each at 250. Embroidered polos run $13 to $20 each at 100 and $11 to $17 each at 250. That is a typical delivered price per piece with shipping included, and it is one price for every size. Your free quote is itemized and exact for your headcount.
Screen printed or embroidered uniforms for a plant or warehouse?
Screen printed uniforms are the cost-effective choice for tees worn on the floor every shift, and the print holds up to frequent washing. Embroidery suits polos for supervisors, office staff and anyone who meets visitors. Many sites order both from one logo file: printed tees for the floor and embroidered polos for leads, in matching colors.
Can each department or shift get its own shirt color?
Yes. Color by department is the most common request: the same logo and the same shirt, in a different color for receiving, shipping, maintenance and line leads, so a supervisor can read the floor at a glance. Send the colors and the headcount for each with your request, and your quote confirms the split before anything is made.
How do reorders work as we hire?
Your logo file, ink and thread colors, placements and shirt stay on file after the first order, so a reorder is a headcount and a size breakdown, not a new setup. The shirt a new hire gets matches what the shift already wears. For reorders on a set schedule, see the uniform reorder program.
What is the minimum order for industrial uniforms?
The minimum is 50 pieces per order. Sizes are mixed in one order at no extra cost, and it is one price for every size. A site with 50 staff at three shirts each clears it on the first order. Each reorder has the same 50-piece minimum. Most teams batch new hires monthly or quarterly.
Can we pay with a company purchase order?
Yes. Paid in full by Stripe invoice, card or ACH. School, district and company purchase orders accepted. You get a free mockup and an itemized, delivered quote to attach to the requisition before you send anything. Quotes are guaranteed for 30 days, which leaves time for operations, HR and purchasing to approve it.
How long do industrial uniforms take?
About 3 weeks from mockup approval to in hand: about 2 weeks of production, then about 1 week of shipping. Free mockup and itemized quote by the next business morning (CT), so the timeline starts as soon as you approve it. If a new shift or a new building opens on a fixed date, put that date in your request and your quote confirms whether we can meet it.
More about industrial uniforms
Uniform shirts with company logo, one spec for every shift
A plant or a distribution center runs on consistency, and uniforms are no different. The first order sets the spec: one shirt, one logo file, one placement, and the ink or thread colors that match your brand. Every shift and every building then orders against that spec, so first shift and third shift wear the same shirt, and a site that opens next year matches the one that opened last year.
Industrial work shirts by department
Most operations teams split by color rather than by design. Receiving, shipping, maintenance, quality and line leads each get a color, with the department printed on the back and the company logo on the left chest. Temporary and seasonal staff often get one more color. Trade crews outside the building are covered on custom work shirts, and production, pit and deck crews on crew shirts.
Screen printed uniforms and embroidered polos
Floor staff usually wear a screen printed tee or long-sleeve tee: it costs the least per piece at volume and a one-color logo stays sharp through heavy washing. Supervisors and office staff usually wear an embroidered polo. Both come from the same logo file, so the two look like one program.
High-visibility garments
Dock, yard and forklift areas may call for high-visibility garments, which are their own specification. They are covered on the safety shirts page, not here.
