How much do theater cast shirts cost?
Show tees run $8 to $12 each at 50 pieces and $7 to $10 each at 100. Hoodies run $24 to $32 each at 50, and polos and quarter-zips are priced the same way on your quote. That is a typical delivered price per piece with shipping included, and it drops as your company orders more. Your free quote is itemized and exact.
Can you print the cast list on the back?
Yes. The cast list on the back is the classic show shirt: the show title on the front and every name on the back, cast first, then crew and pit. Send the list as typed text in the order you want it. Every name appears on the free mockup, so the director can check each spelling before anything is printed.
Can the crew get the same shirt in black?
Yes. Crews usually wear black so they disappear backstage, and the same design prints on a black shirt in a light ink. For more than one shirt color, send the split with your request and your quote confirms it. A word on the back such as CREW or STAGE MGR shows who does what during load in and strike.
Can we pay with a school purchase order?
Yes. Paid in full by Stripe invoice, card or ACH. School, district and company purchase orders accepted. Schools and districts: Net 30 on an approved purchase order. Paying from a student council or school activity fund works the same way: you get an itemized quote to hand to the bookkeeper, and nothing is made until the mockup and the price are approved.
What is the minimum order for cast and crew shirts?
The minimum is 50 pieces per order. Cast, crew, pit and a few for directors and parents usually clears it. Sizes are mixed in one run. One price per piece across every adult size, 3XL+ included. Youth sizes are priced on your quote. The price per piece drops at 100 and again at 250, and your free quote confirms the exact price for your count.
How early should we order before opening night?
About 3 weeks from mockup approval to in hand: about 2 weeks of production, then about 1 week of shipping. Free mockup and itemized quote by the next business morning (CT), so the timeline starts when you approve it. Cast lists can change during rehearsals, so set the design early and send the final names last.

Show shirts the whole company wears
A show shirt is the one thing the whole company keeps after strike. Most drama programs order once per production: the show title and the school name on the front, and the full company on the back. Cast, crew and pit all get the same design, so the group looks like one company at the cast party and in the hallway on show week, which also helps sell tickets.
Drama club shirts for the whole year
Alongside show shirts, many programs order one drama club shirt for the year, with the club name and no show title. It works for club fair, auditions and field trips, and new members can wear it before they are cast in anything. A hoodie or crewneck in the same design covers cold rehearsal rooms.
Cast and crew shirts: who wears what
Cast shirts usually come in a color that matches the show art. Crew shirts are black, long sleeve if the crew prefers, with a small mark on the front so nothing catches the light backstage. Pit orchestra and front of house can share either one. Keeping one design across every group means one setup.
