Sweatshirt and hoodie size chart

Unisex and youth measurements for pullover hoodies, zip-ups, and crewneck sweatshirts, so a team order fits the whole team.

Sweatshirt sizing runs differently from t-shirt sizing, and the gap trips people up on team orders. Fleece garments are cut with more room through the body and shoulder because they are made to layer over something, so the same person often takes the same nominal size in a hoodie as in a tee but ends up with a noticeably roomier fit. That extra room is intentional, not a sizing error.

Use the to-fit chest column to choose a size from a body measurement, and the garment chest column to compare against a sweatshirt someone already owns. Body length matters more on hoodies than on tees, because a short hem on a fleece rides up as soon as someone raises their arms, which is the single most common complaint on a team order that otherwise fit fine.

Zip-ups and pullovers share a body block, so the measurements below apply to both; the zip changes how the front decorates, not how the garment fits. Youth sweatshirt sizes follow the same logic on a smaller scale, and youth and adult run in one order at one price.

Sweatshirt and hoodie size chart, frequently asked questions

Two columns do the work. To-fit chest is the body measurement the size is cut for: measure around the fullest part of the chest and find the row that contains your number. Garment chest is the lay-flat measurement across one side of the finished sweatshirt, which is what you compare against one you already own. If you fall between rows, size up: fleece is meant to layer.

Yes, and deliberately. Hoodies and crewnecks are cut with more room through the chest and shoulder so they layer over a shirt, so the same person in the same nominal size gets a roomier fit in fleece than in jersey. If someone wants a close fit in a hoodie, sizing down one is usually right; for a team order, keep everyone on their normal size.

Youth sweatshirts run YXS through YXL, following the same chest and body-length logic as adult sizes on a smaller scale. Youth medium fits a chest of roughly 29 to 31 inches. Youth sizing varies more between blanks than adult sizing does, so where you can, measure a sweatshirt that already fits and match the garment chest column.

Unisex sizing uses one scale cut on a straighter body block, which is why it is the standard for team and group orders: one chart, one order, no split runs. Many women prefer to size down one in a unisex hoodie for a closer fit through the body. Tell us if you would rather run separate men's and women's fits and we will quote it either way.

Yes. Hoodies, zip-ups, and crewnecks can run together in a single order, mixing sizes across all of them, and the per-piece price is set by quantity rather than by how many styles you split it across. Collect the breakdown once and we will confirm it on your quote.
