Company picnic shirt ideas for your next team outing
What should a company picnic shirt look like?
A company picnic shirt should feel like a day off, not a uniform. Use a soft shirt color, a small company mark and one relaxed line about the day, and save the logo lockup for work shirts. If you run field games, print the same design on four team colors so people can sort into teams without a bib.

The company picnic shirt is the one piece of company apparel people wear on a Saturday. That only happens if it looks like weekend clothes: a relaxed fit, a soft color and a design that says more about the day than about the brand guidelines.
The ideas below include team-color shirts for field games, family-day shirts for kids, and a few small gifts for the people who organized the whole thing. Swap in your company name and the year, and open any idea in the studio.

Planning
What to sort out before you order.
1
Collect sizes for kids too
Family days need youth sizes. Add a household-size question to the RSVP so kids are not left in adult small.
2
Four team colors, one print
Printing the same design on four shirt colors is the cheapest way to make teams for field games.
3
Ship to one office
Orders ship to one US address. For multi-site companies, pick the office hosting the picnic and send the rest along with the other event supplies.
When to order
Company picnics run from June through September, and the committee usually orders shirts in May.
For a picnic in late June (Saturday, June 26, 2027), request your quote by Monday, May 31, 2027 and approve the mockup by Monday, June 7, 2027.
Itemized quote by the next business morning (CT). Then about 2 weeks of production plus 1 week of shipping.

Every product, every tierQuestions
Before you order.
How early should we order company picnic shirts?
At least four weeks before the picnic: a quote by the next business morning, a few days to approve the mockup, about two weeks of production and about one week of shipping.
Can we have different team colors in one order?
Yes. One design can print on several shirt colors in a single order, which is the simplest way to make teams for field games.
How does our company pay?
Companies pay by Stripe invoice, by card or ACH, at quote approval. A W-9 is available on request and purchase orders are accepted.
Do you include youth sizes for family day?
Yes. Youth and adult sizes print in the same run at one price per piece across every size.
